Located in central New Hampshire on top of Mount Tecumseh, Waterville Valley Resort is a mid-sized ski area that features 220 acres of skiing with a 2020 foot vertical. There are six terrain parks and 50 runs and is home to many international races including several World Cups. With an all access pass that gives guests access to ski bikes, snow blades and ski foxes, it’s no wonder that Waterville draws so many visitors to its ski village. When you’re staying at Waterville, there’s no reason not to stay in the village. There are five different Waterville Valley lodging options, from 3-bedroom condominiums to simple hotel rooms. Here’s a brief overview of each.

Black Bear Lodge

This iconic Waterville Valley lodging option offers one bedroom units (some with lofts) with full kitchens and access to an indoor/outdoor pool. There’s also a Jacuzzi tub and sauna for guests. These rooms sleep up to six comfortably. A note when booking: smaller units are designated as “superior,” while larger units are classified as “deluxe.” The deluxe units have more square footage and are newly renovated.

Golden Eagle Lodge

The Lodge offers one or two bedroom suites as well as the luxurious tower suite. These condominiums sleep up to six people comfortably, with select units handling four guests. The rooms all come with a fully equipped kitchen and bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. These suites are all comfortable and some of the upper floor suites have skylights, great for looking out over the mountain or watching the snow fall in the evening.

Snowy Owl Inn

This inn offers 85 guest rooms as Waterville Valley lodging options. Kids 12 and under stay free at Snowy Owl and with 15 distinct room combinations, you can find room for up to 10 people. Five rooms have complete kitchens to compete with the restaurant on-site or the many offerings in the Village. A light continental breakfast comes with each room and there’s also a heated indoor pool, great for a quick soak after a long day on the snow. One of the best parts of the Snowy Owl are the smaller lobbies scattered throughout the Inn. Each has its own seating around a fireplace, great for impromptu après ski gatherings.

Valley Inn

The Valley Inn offers parlor rooms for guests, each with a single king and queen sofa bed or two queen beds to sleep up to four. Premium parlor suites come with a 2-burner stove and a full sized refrigerator. The sitting area has a queen size pullout and French doors separate the sleeping area from the sitting area. As another option for Waterville Valley lodging, the Valley Inn has a two-story townhouse suite on the top floor. This townhouse features a downstairs sitting area with a pullout double, while the upstairs portion has two double beds with a private bathroom. A premium option upgrades the double beds to queens and includes a kitchenette.

Silver Fox Inn

This Inn has 32 guest rooms, each with either a single king or two double beds, sleeping 2 or 4 guests respectfully. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, offering a typical small hotel feel. The lobby has a large fireplace and lots of seating, making it perfect as a gathering place for friends and family before you catch the shuttle up to the lifts. Each room comes with a continental breakfast in the morning to get you fueled up and ready for the slopes as well as access to the afternoon wine and cheese social. This social is a great après ski event where you can meet up with fellow skiers and vacationers over some delicious local cheeses and glasses of select wines.
