Loon Mountain boasts over sixty ski trails, which are spanned out across over three hundred acres. Loon Mountain is the perfect place to ski or snowboard for those who are more advanced with over half of their trails listed as intermediate or advanced. This large mountain is one that prides itself on fewer lift lines than most other ski hills in the area. There are twelve chairlifts or gondolas on the mountain which means the hill can accommodate over fifteen thousand skiers per hour! That’s a lot of traffic. The best way for you to enjoy your trip to Loon mountain, besides getting out on those slopes nice and early, is to find accommodations as close to the mountain as possible.

The Mountain Club on Loon is the most luxurious place when it comes to hotels nearby. Located right at the bottom of the mountain, you will get to enjoy the ski-in, ski-out facility to its full potential should you choose to stay here. Make sure to take advantage of the spa to rejuvenate yourself after a long day out in the cold. If being super relaxed isn’t your thing, you could always enjoy a delicious meal at the Black Diamond Pub.
Econolodge is a great budget-friendly option and located only five miles from the mountain. Its central location is perfect for bringing kids to the areas other attractions like; Clark’s Trading Post or the Cannon Aerial Tramway. The Econolodge also includes a free breakfast so that’s one less meal you will have to worry about!
Also nearby you will find the Woodstock Inn, Station and Brewery. Knows to many as New Hampshire’s “favorite getaway for fun, food and relaxation.” The Inn is on the smaller side with only forty guest rooms so make sure you book in advance because in the short winter season, the Inn can fill up quickly.
Nearby in downtown Lincoln you will find the Lodge at Lincoln Station. With a free shuttle service to Loon Mountain, you will not have to worry about getting back and forth. The rooms have kitchenettes as well so you can save a bit of money by cooking your own meals!
Kancamagus Lodge is located in an ideal location to the hill and also offers shuttle service for skiers and snowboarders looking to enjoy a weekend of fresh powder. The Lodge offers spectacular views, an indoor pool, game room and two restaurants on the grounds.
