King Pine Resort has been offering family fun to generations. Located in East Madison, King Pine Resort is built around a private lake and has the longest running ski camp in the country. With seventeen different ski trails for all skill levels and six chairlifts, skiers and snowboarders are sure to spend more time on the snow than waiting in line. Alternative Adventures

King Pine Resort has quite a number of different activities for all ages no matter what their winter interest. Nordic skiing is a popular past-time at this resort, with twenty-two kilometers of beautifully scenic trails. Lessons and rentals are available during the winter for those looking to improve their skills. Snowshoeing along these trails is also very popular, with rentals also available for those that do not own their own. The New Hampshire Audubon Wildlife offers beautifully scenic views the entire trip. For those looking for a bit more of a workout; the Lookout Tower is a great option that provides expansive views from above.

There is ice-skating on site under the Tohko Dome which is well-kept and Zamboni groomed regularly. Located close to King Pine Resort, skating is a great activity for all ages until ten at night. It’s even free for those that bring their lift tickets. During the day, horse-drawn sleigh rides are available for a romantic ride through the snowy grounds of King Pine Resort and the on-site Purity Springs Resort. The Sleigh rides are about half an hour and are available only on Saturday evenings, so make sure you book in advance to make sure you get a spot!

Ski Away

King Pine Resort offers night skiing on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until nine in the evening. It’s a great option for fun for those who are night owls and prefer skiing in the dark. Lessons and rentals are also available on site. With great prices, renting is a great option for those travelling from out of town or looking to try new equipment. Lessons are taught by some of the best and are sure to help you feel more confident on the slopes. No matter what your skill level or interest you are bound to find something at King Pine Resort.
