Located in North Conway, New Hampshire, Cranmore Mountain Resort has been offering great skiing and snowboarding to skiers of all skill levels since 1934. Fast forward a few decades and Cranmore has become one of the biggest ski hills in the United States, providing pleasure to thousands of riders every season. Cranmore Mountain Resort has over fifty ski hills ranging from easy to difficult with the longest hill a mile long. There are plenty of ski lifts on the mountain to ensure life lines are kept to a minimum allowing skiers to spend more time skiing and less time waiting.

Get to Know the Many Adventures of the Mountain

Cranmore Mountain Resort not only has a large selection of ski hills but also five different terrain parks. Adrenaline junkies can take advantage of the different set-ups for any skill level. Beginners can find solace at the Matinee park where they can learn the basics of terrain parks. More intermediate riders will enjoy The Reel Terrain Park where they can learn to perfect their skills on any of the jumps, boxes or rails.

Cranmore Mountain has the number one tubing park in New Hampshire. With ten lanes and a magic carpet located at the base of the mountain; children and adults alike will enjoy every minute of the fun. Make sure to check the height restrictions before heading to the park as children have to be over a certain height in order to participate in the fun.

If tubing is not your thing, there is always the mountain coaster that can provide just as much of a thrill. The coaster is thousands of feet long that twist and turns all the way down the mountain. Going up to twenty-five miles an hour, going through the woods, you can choose to take a more leisurely ride or really find out what the coaster is worth. Children below the age of eight must ride with an adult on the coaster and must be a minimum height.

Summertime Fun

In the summer, Cranmore Mountain’s Eagle Zipline is one of the most popular attractions for miles. Eagle Zipline provides the sensation of flying with you and a friend or loved one sitting side by side soaring down the mountain on a suspended cable.

If the zipline, coaster, or tubing park aren’t enough for you there is always the giant swing. Taking a maximum of four people, the swing arcs higher and higher into the sky before releasing and letting you sing in a pendulum motion. With so many adventures, it’s not hard to see why Cranmore Mountain Resort is a popular destination for kids and adults alike.
