The most optimal place to stay when visiting Ragged Mountain Resort would be the Cardigan Cabins. Located right at the base of the mountain these cabins are fully equipped homes which make the perfect stay for bigger groups, especially families. The homes range from one to three bedroom homes. Full living room and dining rooms allow plenty of space for others to enjoy themselves after a day out on the slopes. The cabins are fully furnished and fully equipped so you can feel right at home instantly. Getting the children ready for a day out on the slopes is always so much easier when you can try and keep regular routines. It is even easier when you are steps away from the mountain and can walk right out onto the ski trails.

There are plenty of options for lodging around Ragged Mountain for any budget as well. The Henry Whipple House is a beautiful Victorian style hotel that prides itself on its luxury sheets, towels and amenities. Be sure to take advantage of the free beverages and snacks while you’re there!

The Inn on Newfound Lake, just a bit away from the mountain is a great place to stay for those looking for a romantic getaway. The beautiful views, especially at sunset, are enough to make anyone swoon!

Another great place to stay, Highland Lake Inn, is roughly ten miles away from the mountain but features a full American breakfast. Cross country skiers will love this spot as it’s right near the Northern Rail Trail, a popular Nordic trail in the winter-time.

The Inn at Pleasant Lake is the perfect place to stay for history buffs. With only ten rooms, the stay here is intimate and comfortable. It’s also hard to beat the beautiful views and lovely afternoon tea after a long day out in the snow!

Iron Creek Farm Bed and Breakfast is a bit further out from Ragged Mountain, roughly thirteen miles. This unique spot is pet friendly and of course also offers breakfast for boarders.
